Für die Server+ Zertifizierung gibt es zwar keine offiziellen Voraussetzungen, aber sowohl CompTIA als auch uCertify empfehlen dringend, dass der Kandidat über 18 bis 24 Monate Erfahrung in der Servertechnologie sowie eine CompTIA A+ Zertifizierung verfügt. .

Falls Sie beim ersten Versuch, die Server+-Zertifizierung zu bestehen, scheitern, gilt für die Wiederholungsprüfung folgende Regelung von CompTIA:

  • CompTIA schreibt keine Wartezeit zwischen dem ersten und zweiten Prüfungsversuch vor. Vor Ihrem dritten oder jedem weiteren Prüfungsversuch müssen Sie jedoch mindestens vierzehn Kalendertage ab dem Datum Ihres letzten Versuchs warten.
  • Hat ein Kandidat eine Prüfung bestanden, kann er diese nicht ohne vorherige Zustimmung von CompTIA wiederholen.
  • Ein Testergebnis, das gegen die Wiederholungsrichtlinien verstößt, wird nicht bearbeitet, was dazu führt, dass für den abgelegten Test keine Gutschrift vergeben wird. Wiederholte Verstöße führen zum Ausschluss von der Teilnahme am CompTIA-Zertifizierungsprogramm.
  • Die Prüfungsgebühr muss bei jedem Prüfungsversuch entrichtet werden. CompTIA bietet keine kostenlosen Wiederholungsprüfungen oder Rabatte auf Wiederholungsprüfungen an.

Die CompTIA Server+ Zertifizierungsprüfung wird nicht mehr angeboten. Kandidaten können die Prüfung mit dem neuen Prüfungscode SY0-003 ablegen.
