Die Richtlinien für die Wiederholung von Prüfungen lauten wie folgt:
- Kandidaten, die eine Prüfung zum Associate, Professional oder Specialist nicht bestehen, müssen eine Wartezeit von fünf (5) Kalendertagen ab dem Tag nach dem fehlgeschlagenen Versuch einhalten, bevor sie die gleiche Prüfung erneut ablegen dürfen.
- Kandidaten, die eine schriftliche CCIE- oder CCDE-Prüfung nicht bestehen, müssen ab dem Tag nach dem fehlgeschlagenen Versuch 15 Kalendertage warten, bevor sie dieselbe Prüfung erneut ablegen können.
- Nach bestandener Prüfung muss der Kandidat mindestens 180 Tage warten, bevor er dieselbe Prüfung mit identischer Prüfungsnummer erneut ablegen kann.
- Kandidaten, die gegen diese Richtlinien verstoßen, verstoßen gegen die Vereinbarung. Ein solches Verhalten ist, wie in der Cisco-Zertifizierungs- und Vertraulichkeitsvereinbarung beschrieben, strengstens untersagt.
